Purpose of your Job

As our IT Architecture & Infrastructure Lead, you will play a key role in shaping and advancing Coriolis Pharma’s global technology landscape. You will drive the strategic development of our IT architecture and infrastructure, ensuring that technology platforms, cloud services, networks, and workplace solutions remain secure, scalable, resilient, and aligned with business objectives.

Working closely with internal stakeholders, external technology partners, and global leadership, you will help build a modern and future-ready IT environment that enables business growth, innovation, and operational excellence. Your work will provide the digital foundation that supports the development of innovative biopharmaceutical solutions and the continued global growth of Coriolis Pharma.

Your Responsibility

  • Define and execute the organization's infrastructure and enterprise architecture strategy.
  • Lead the Design and oversee the architecture of scalable, secure, and reliable IT systems.
  • Lead the management and optimization of cloud, network, server, storage, and virtualization environments.
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure architecture standards, policies, and governance frameworks.
  • Ensure high availability, performance, and security of all infrastructure services.
  • Oversee disaster recovery planning, business continuity, and resilience initiatives.
  • Lead the design and management of end-user computing environments, including laptops, desktops and mobile devices.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Manage external vendors, service providers, and technology partners.
  • With our technology partners, provide strategic guidance on technology investments, infrastructure modernization and drive forthcoming projects.
  • Ensure compliance with cybersecurity, data protection, and regulatory requirements.
  • Communicate complex architectural concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.

What you need to succeed

Experience
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in IT infrastructure, cloud services, enterprise architecture, or related leadership roles.
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex infrastructure environments.
  • Experience in governing outsourced Infrastructure and Architecture Services (IAS).
  • Experience working with external service providers and vendors.
Technical Expertise
         Strong knowledge of:
  • Enterprise Architecture frameworks and methodologies
  • Cloud platforms (Azure)
  • Network architecture and operations
  • Server, storage, and virtualization technologies
  • Microsoft 365 and modern workplace technologies
  • Cybersecurity principles and best practices
  • Backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity concepts
  • IT governance and operational excellence
Personal Skills
  • Strategic and analytical mindset
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Strong leadership and decision-making abilities
  • Ability to simplify complex technical topics
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Fluent German and English (written and spoken)
